Hello, My name is Alexandra and I am a pie addict. Most of you know that I am a foodie and judge a destination on how good the food is. The mention of food and Maui gets my belly rumbling for teri-beef plate lunches, burgers from Bully’s, salads from Mana, fresh coconuts from the back of my brothers truck but not much of the islands sweets get me excited. So when I read a tweet by Beers and Beans shortly before returning to Maui that they had discovered a little slice of heaven called Leodas I was intrigued about this new place to eat in Maui.

          I am a sucker for Banana Cream Pie and added this spot to the top of my list of places I NEEDED TO TRY while on Maui. I have now been there twice in less than a week! I have tried the apple crumble, mixed berry, and banana cream pies. All three have been delicious. Both times I have had the best intentions to photograph the storefront and the pies but each time I have been to excited to stuff my face that alas no photography has happened. So I had to scour the internet for photos from someone with a bit more self-control than I. So I thank Jane at Pixie Bug Studio for having some restraint so I could show you a picture of pie  

          Leodas is located in Olowalu which you could quickly pass with a blink of the eye on your way to Lahaina. Next time you are making the drive I highly suggest you stop and savor the good things in life Who knows you might even spot me in the corner hiding my addict shame under a big hate and dark sunglasses.
