Nice! One of these days we’ll get to SE Turkey! Next on our travel list: Safranbolu to see the old wooden Ottoman houses.
I loved SE Turkey! You need to make it to Gazientep for a pure foodie adventure! I had the best hummus of my life there!
I LOVE markets… We head to Turkey next month, super looking forward to it!
Where are you heading in Turkey? The markets in Turkey are like nothing else I have seen. I really enjoyed the southeastern part of the country.
We head to Istanbul on May 14th, and as of right now we don’t have an end date, though we are thinking 3-ish weeks, maybe 4? If you have any places in specific to recommend we’re totally open to suggestion!
I spent almost a month there. I did not do a boat cruise around the southern beaches and wish I had in retrospect. I esp loved the southeastern section of the country… Urfa and Gazientep. Do the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia totally worth the money. Drink lots of fresh squeezed OJ!
SE of Turkey my home town… and if you travel further south you will see more great places…. hope you’ll enjoy it there
The SE was my favorite part of the country. I hope to return someday to explore more!
